With a Ph.D. in Natural Language Processing (NLP) from Stanford University, Ji is the former Head of Research Science and Lead Scientist in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning at Medallia. Prior to that, she was a researcher at Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). With decades of experience in NLP, she brings deep knowledge of an array of data and AI technologies and extensive expertise in data mining, linguistics,machine learning, pattern recognition, information extraction and text analytics among others.
Ji is the innovation engine, inspiration, and passion that drives the Divinia team. Frustrated by the limitations of the traditional search methods, she created the technology that fuels our product suite to make search better for everyone – consumers, marketers, and e-commerce sites.
Executive director of her family’s Foundation, Ji and her partner donate to organizations focused on education, arts, the environment, and community enrichment programs, including the National Park Foundation, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, and the Equal Justice Initiative.
She received her BA & MA in Linguistics from Peking University.
Yves has worked more than 20 years in high-tech industries, most recently at Verint Systems Video Intelligence Solutions and Hewlett-Packard Networking and continues to work with the best and brightest on innovative solutions and products like mobile applications, cloud computing & virtualization, consumer digital cameras, enterprise software, video surveillance & analytics, wireless & networking, web technologies, telecommunication equipment, embedded systems and single-board computers.
Most importantly, Yves is a real entrepreneur. He started his first business in 1996 and served as the CTO for 4 start-up companies from scratch, delivered finished products, enabled sales and gave the shareholders an exit strategy. As an extremely talented, skilled and sharp-minded research and development executive and engineer, with broad experience managing large cross-functional distributed groups in all aspects of software, firmware, hardware and tests from requirements to product delivery. Yves brings to Divinia a combined organizational leadership, decision-making, team motivation, mentoring and performance management to overcome obstacles and drive results.
With over two decades of revenue growth roles in FinTech, AdTech, MarTech, HealthTech, Big Data and more, Keith is Divinia’s Head of Growth charged with building awareness growing revenue. His experience with SaaS and disruptor businesses gives him the ability to translate theory into opportunity.
In addition to leadership roles at numerous start-ups, Keith spent 14 years at Yahoo! / Verizon leading explosive revenue growth. His knack for innovative marketing opportunities drove the creation of five new products providing $100MM in annual found revenue.
Passionate about building collaborative teams and building strong partnerships, he offers an ideal mix of capacity, creativity, drive, and team-first mentality.
Keith received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Brown University where he was a starter on the nationally ranked water polo team and nationally recognized vocalist with his acapella singing group, The Brown Derbies.
When he’s not finding a way to drive growth, he’s spending time shuttling his 3 children between soccer, softball, dance and school.
With over two decades of finance executive and leadership roles in Software, IP, telecommations, B2B services, and EdTech, Kent is Divinia’s Chief Financial Officer responsible for ensuring the optimum use of resources and financial integrity. His experience with rapid growth and changing business environments gives him the ability to see that businesses have what they need to thrive.
Helping companies succeed is his passion, by building strong finance teams helping meld all functions together with timely and accurate reporting, collaboration between functions and systems that support the business.
Kent received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University and earned his CPA while with Ernst & Young.
In his downtime, he you can find him with his six children and five grandchildren.
